NORML’s updated post on the benefits of CBD and medical cannabis now available on Amazon Kindle – Amazon (AMZN)

The National Organization for Marijuana Law Reform, better known as NORML announced on Tuesday that his The recently updated and revised publication, Clinical Applications for Cannabis & Cannabinoids: A Review of the Recent Scientific Literature, 2000 – 2021, is now available for download on the Amazon Kindle (NASDAQ: AMZN).

The 51-year-old Washington-based nonprofit noted that all product of purchase of the new publication will be used to supporting NORML’s cannabis advocacy efforts. In its early days, NORML received significant financial support over several years from Playboy (NASDAQ: PLBY) founder, Hugh Hefner, through his long-standing friendship with NORML Founder Keith Stroup.

NORML issued the previous edition of this report about four years ago. Since then, thousands of new studies have been published. NORML last book includes about 100 of these newly studied conditions – making it one of the most recent and complete compilations on the benefits of medical cannabis.

The updated edition looks more than 450 peer-reviewed studies analyzing the safety and effectiveness of whole-plant or specific cannabinoid marijuana in 23 different health conditions such as chronic pain, fibromyalgia, autism, diabetes, migraine and PTSD.

“NORML has long advocated for the promulgation of evidence-based marijuana policies,” said Paul Armentano, the main author of the book and the deputy director of NORML. “When it comes to answering specific questions about the safety and therapeutic efficacy of cannabis, this publication provides the evidence that patients and their physicians – as well as policy makers – need to know. “
